Background 私たちに関しては

Japan Watch Project was initiated in 2003 with support of Thailand Research Fund (TRF) in order to be a research unit providing data, analysis, and studies on Japan in several dimensions including politics, foreign policy, economics, and society. With the realization that Japan is a major power and an important partner of Thailand, it is necessary for Thai policy makers as well as other related groups and public to understand Japan and its policies and roles at both regional and international levels; In addition, Japan itself has been changing rapidly during the last few decades due to the changing political system and environment. In order to respond to this dynamic change, data accumulation, situation monitoring and analysis, as well as researches are critical. Japan Watch Project has conducted many activities not only to support policy makers but also to promote better understanding between both sides at people level.
